Hello, I'm Neila, artist of experimental webcomic Soapbox Hill . In this thread I'll post up some examples of my artwork as well as a list of somethings I'll have available at the convention.


Painting of my OC Kaylee and Ouroboros I just finished. I love how this piece turned out, and hope to have the first issue of the comic completed by the convention.

What's your comic about? I'm all about up and coming artists and writers. If you give me some promo stuff I'll put it on the AniMix home page for everyone to see.

Ouroboros is about a Grim Reaper who is loathingly teamed up with a cursed girl who is in the possession of a mysterious demon sword. Kaylee, under the guidence of Pauper (a Grim Reaper), must do 7007 good things before she is free of her curse.

I'm still presently working on my script for issue 1 but as soon as I have some art suitable for a promo I'll send it your way. ^_^

Juuhachigouakie, I used Acrylic paints ^_^

With some luck I should have a decent Promo peice ready by the end of next week. ^_^

Great news! Please keep me posted. I'll post up the stuff on the website. I'll do a featured artist thingy once every two weeks until the convention. You'll be featured artist number 1!!!

More of my work can be viewed on my Deviantart page . I've fallen somewhat behind my schedual lately, but I'm still hopeing to have Ouroboros issue 1 done by Animix.

Due to some financial constraints and extenuating circumstances I wont have copies of Ouroboros at Animix, but I will be offering original art and lots of little goodies such as Bookmarks and Keychains at my table.
I'll try to keep y'all posted, sorry for disappearing for awhile.

I think I remember seeing you at CTC, its hard to tell with those sunglasses on in your picture. And I'm terrible at remembering faces...and names x_x
