So, I called today, and the hotel is already filled up by us and the Jehova's witness convention. Are we going to try for an overflow hotel, or is it up to us to pick one? Either way it's cool, but can I suggest that maybe we change the dates next year so we aren't having a convention the same time as the Jehova's Witness people?
Does anyone have any suggestions on which hotel to stay at near the convention center? I'm looking for cheap, as we won't be doing much more than sleeping in it.

Well, I just got a room at the La Quinta a couple miles away. I decided that since I used to live near there, and I know the area well, it's no biggie, and if I'm going to have to pay a bit more, well, then I might as well get free breakfast out of it! XD
It's only $79 a night and there's two beds, a fridge/microwave, and free internet. (Not to mention the free breakfast, who doesn't love free food, honestly?)
Since I have an artist alley table again this year, I at least have a place to have all my crap under my table^^

Yeah, it's pretty cheap, comparatively, but it is a bit farther away than most people want to stay. :P

Wow the La Quinta's a bit of a ways away. There is a Motel 6 just an exit down from the Plaza. (why do we have to be stuck with the Jehova's again?)

Yes, I met them at the elevators a few times, but they mostly avoided the convention areas for obvious reasons XD

Yeah, I know the La Quinta is further away, but honestly, it's not a problem for me, plus, I'm actually a Rewards Member there too, so if I go out of town I try to stay at La Quintas in order to get a free night some day^^
