Advertisting

It seems to me that this Con needs a bit more advertising, considering how little posts there are and how few people have registered in the forums. I'm going to be headed to Sakura Con in March and I'd be willing to help you advertise your con there. I could even work something out to where there's a table or something to advertise your convention. Send me a message or e-mail me at jewelle@musician.org

Isn't SakuraCon up in Washington? They'll be at Ikkicon in February, too...that should help drum up some interest, especially since the locations are so close.

How about at A-kon? I know it's only about two months before AniMix, but I think advertising there would get us some additional attendees.

Yes Sakura-con is in Washington, but you'd be surprised how many people commute over distances for conventions. I mean I'm flying from TX to WA for Sakura-con and there are others who come from farther. Just wanted to help if I could.

Advertising

Postby AsianEyes442 on Tue Jan 22, 2008 12:53 pm

Hey Jewelle,

By all means, please advertise at Sakura con. I wish I could go and do it myself, but I'm swamped with planning and traveling.

Thanks so much for your help,

Sure I'd be happy to. Do you have a flyer or something of the sort I can print out to pass out at the con? I think I saw something like that on the main site, I'll check it out. I'll just be your word of mouth advertiser k? Tee-hee. Hope I can get more attendees. But yeah I'll be sure to spread the word and such at the con.

Hey Jewel,

you can use the program guide on the front of the website as a flyer. I had a friend make up a nice poster ad for me. I'll fix it up and e-mail the formal one to you before Sakura con.

Thanks a million,

Keita

I advertised at the A-kon, which just passed, and I actually got about 37 people to come!
:3
I wish I could've gotten some more people interested, but who in the world would stop and listen to a five-foot tall L?

Only 37 people...apparently...

If things go great this year, I'll make sure to mention you at Anime Fest for next year's AniMix.

I'll make sure to mention it too at future cons I attend, if things go well this year.
